There is a page for this already. Towards the bottom it has an example of installing another kernel in Dom0.

It's a good start, but it only works for kernels that are already available from the repo. The procedure outlined in @marmarek 's message is more complex. Is it not desirable to have that documented?

Some users want or need to install a different kernel in dom0, but they don't know how to do it or where to begin. It would be nice to have a documentation page that walks them through the process, so that we can simply point them to that page.
