Qubes creates a single bright pixel in the upper-left corner of the screen (on the leftmost monitor, if there are multiple monitors). This can be very noticeable (and distracting) when using fullscreen AppVMs with dark contents (e.g., watching movies, graphic design work). Possibly an artifact of the colored window decorations system.

marmarek added a commit to QubesOS/qubes-gui-daemon that referenced this issue Jun 25, 2016

xside: fix handling exception for forcing a window on screen
If window is completely off screen, do not move it back (as part of
preventing hiding its colorful frame). There were error of handling
unsigned width, which promoted the whole operation to unsigned
(including possibly negative position).

Fixes QubesOS/qubes-issues#2005

(cherry picked from commit 44a3f43)
