Ok, so I removed the /etc/xdg/autostart/gpk-update-icon.desktop from TemplateVM and it solved the problem. This file is owned by the gnome-packagekit rpm. We can probably add triggers to core-appvm rpm to remove this packet. Other idea?

Suddenly, after upgrade to core 1.5.13 and gui 1.2.4 in VMs, I started getting update messages "Security Updates Avilable" from each running VM. This is just crazy and makes no sense, of course, to run this in a unupdateable VMs.
Is this our new qubes-session thing introduced in gui 1.2.4?
