Qubes OS version (e.g., `R3.1`):

R3.0, R3.1, R3.2

Expected behavior:

Signal handled by application handler.

Actual behavior:

Application killed by SIGABRT, regardless of signal handler

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

>>> import qubes.qdb
>>> q = qubes.qdb.QubesDB()
>>> q.watch('/')
>>> q.read_watch()
^Cpython: qdb-client.c:754: qdb_read_watch: Assertion `hdr.type == QDB_RESP_WATCH' failed.
