AEM requires encrypting volume group instead of each volume #2354

As reported in #2155 (comment):

If users forget to encrypt the volume group instead of each volume, they won't be able to use AEM, but they won't realize this until AEM fails to boot much later.

This may simply be a matter of better communicating this requirement to the user.
