I see, the new mount points create new partitions; the interface doesn't allow you to select what drive they go on, and makes you make one after removing a partition.

Qubes OS version (e.g.,
R3.1):3.2
Affected TemplateVMs (e.g.,
fedora-23, if applicable):n/a
Expected behavior
If I select "I will configure partitioning" on install, an interface is provided to repartition my disk as I like.
Actual behavior:
Cannot repartition disk. If I select my existing partition and hit '-', the list of partitions disappears entirely and is replaced by an interface which allows configuration of mount points only, without partition adjustment.
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
When installing Qubes, select "I will configure partitioning" and attempt to repartition my existing filled external USB drive.
