qvm-run sometimes doesn't start gui daemon?

It happens a few times to me, but is hard to debug -- all I can see is the lack of guid daemon running for a given VM. In the VM, on the other hand, all looks good -- both the qrexec and gui agent seems to be working fine (or used to for some time).

The Dom0's side log for qrexec and gui is empty. There are qrexec and pacat-simple-vchan daemons running, but not gui daemon running.

When I try to do qvm-run I get:

[qubes](root@dom0)# qvm-run --pass_io personal uname
Running command on VM: 'personal'...
--> Starting Qubes GUId...
Connecting to VM's GUI agent: ..............................................
Hmm... this takes more time than usual -- is the VM running?

Looks like some race condition, because this happens very sporadically.
