Add Appmenus app doesn't work... #266

it keeps displaying only the items that are already in the menu...?

Ah, this is because template comes with only few desktop file templates - rest of them will be fetched after some application installation in template or qvm-sync-appmenus called by hand.

Will fix it - provide all desktop file templates in VM template package (and with whitelist containing currently whitelisted apps).

I think we should provide very few desktop templates with the original template, and just have the qubes manager to run the qvm-sync-appmenus tool automatically whenever user clicks some "refresh" button in the appmenu adding dialog box.

But this will force user to start template just to add app to menu.

Still very few will be added to menu by default - template package will contain just appmenus templates for all applications.
