Cannot restore windows VM from R3.2 backup to R4.0-rc1 #3167

Qubes OS version (e.g., R3.2):

R4.0-rc1

Affected TemplateVMs (e.g., fedora-23, if applicable):

dom0

Expected behavior:

windows 7 VM restores properly. (This also affects a xenial templateVM, but I only have 1 backup containing that file, so I can't check if it's reproducible for that one.)

Actual behavior:

General notes:

I have 2 backups containing a windows 7 VM, and both times I get the exact same error when trying to restore it, so I'm assuming this isn't due to backup corruption.

tests: multi-part volume in backup tests 
Create on of VM's disk volumes big enough to split it into multiple
parts. To do that, add a test of uncompressed backup.

backup: fix restoring template VMs 
os.path.splitext fails on path without proper file base name, like
'/something/..000'. Use plain string methods (rsplit).
