Qubes OS version:
R4.0
Affected component(s):
I was able to change via "Qube settings" the Template of the standard Fedora-DVM to debian-9, but this apparently breaks everything.
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Expected behavior:
I don' think that the Template VM of an disposable VM should be changeable in its Qube settings (please correct me, if I am wrong.)
Actual behavior:
Change from Fedora to Debian-9 broke the DVM and associated applications.
General notes:
I tried to install a fresh debian-9-dvm with the instructions on https://www.qubes-os.org/doc/dispvm-customization/ , which ends up with a new custom-debain9-dvm, in which the Terminal is not working (starts up, then crashes immediately). So I think I have to fully delete and restore my Qubes OS 4.0.
