Currently trying to setup a VPN that sys-net can connect to so that every other VM that has internet access is automatically connected to the VPN. Not sure how to do this, and would like some simple, not too technical instructions, that a noobie can understand. There are already some instructions on this website on how to configure an OpenVPN, however I have tried doing what the instructions say, and have run into errors. So far, all I have been able to figure out is that a new Qube (ProxyVM) must be created, but as for the configuration part of the setup, I have no clue. I have the configuration files, however, since my Qubes OS can only run in Legacy BIOS mode, do I have to download the Legacy configuration files from PIA's website, or can I use the non-legacy files? If anyone can help me with this, it would be greatly appreciated. Also am willing to provide any other details necessary to resolve the issue. Thanks.
Edit: Thought I should also mention that I was able to setup PIA VPN software on the Debian-9 template, and it runs perfectly fine everytime Debian-9 is started, but I want one of the Tor-based VM's such as whonix-ws-dvm to be able to connect to the VPN also. I realized that, since the whole concept of this operating system (Qubes) is to compartmentalize the VM's, that even if you install a VPN application/service through one template, it will not work for any others. Consequently, it now makes sense to me why a new VM must be created through which we can have VPN-routed internet access via sys-net to all other VM's which are connectable to the internet.
