This was a problem related to my custom print drivers that installed their files into /usr/local/ and so the files were not avilable in any VM other than where the driver's rpm were installed (typically the template). So, it's a totally a non issue.

When I try to print from a DispVM it seems like the networking (to my network printer) is extremely slow or not working at all. When I print from a normal VM (based on the same template as DispVM), it all works fine. In both cases the firewall is all in permissive mode (allow /).
