The KDE screenlocker seems like if it was engaged only during the resume from sleep, instead of before suspending. This results in glitches that sometimes the users desktop is visible for a 1-2 seconds, before the screen is properly locked and blanked. This looks just silly to any security-oriented users.

I guess we should somehow ensure that the screenlocker has fully engaged and blanked the screen, before proceeding with the actual suspend.

Hmm, this seems to be working fine as of kde 4.4.5 that we have in Qubes Alpha 3. Closing.
