I can't reproduce this. I've created yellow netvm and icons in menu are yellow. After changing VM color to blue, icons also have changed...

Indeed, after I changed the color of one of the netvm, the icon started to appear correct. I also created another netvm, with some different-than-red label, and again, it got correct label. Probably something got screwed up in the KDE, oh well. Anyway, closing this for now.

Even if I create a netvm with a different label, the icon in the menu is always red.
What is interesting, the desktop files all look correct, e.g.:
And:
... still the icon in the menu is red.
After I removed the menus, and recreated them by hand, the icon is still... Red?!
WTF?
