5.17 kernel boot failure in dom0 on AMD Renoir #7462

Brief summary
I just installed the new kernel-latest package and my laptop won't turn on now. 5.17 in VMs works fine.
Steps to reproduce
Update to 5.17 kernel and restart computer
Expected behavior
dom0 starts
Actual behavior
Black screen when dom0 starts. Backlight is on. System is not responsive. Entering in password blind seems to do nothing (nothing in journalctl in dom0 after).
Notes
There seems to have been some new features added to 5.17 that could be the cause of the problem.
