See the screenshot. Can we easily install some other notification daemon in the template?

Additional problem is that after 20 notifications got "accumulated" (i.e. not manually cleared by the user) no more notifications appear.

In case this was not clear from the screenshot -- the main visual problem is that the notifications are shifted to the right behind the edge of the screen. Might be a gui-agent-related problem too?

Check if xrandr output in VM is the same as in dom0. I have notifications placed correctly...
But indeed, that 21 entries limit is a problem.

Replacing notification-daemon with mate-notification-daemon seems like a good solution to all the problems mentioned above.
