A mobile app that lets users take photos of their prescriptions and notifies them when it is time to take their medication.
Sometimes it can be hard for the elderly to manange and keep track of when to take their medications. With PreScript, this will no longer be a problem.
Built using Android Studio, this mobile applications takes a photo and uses Microsoft Azure as an OCR to convert the image into a text. This text, which contains parsed information about the prescription, is stored in an SQL database and retrieved when the user wants to see their prescriptions.
In the future, we wish to implement Google Calendars with this app as to be able to send out notifications to the user when it is time to take their medications.
