I have worked out where the issue is here after being unable to reproduce it on my first run:
The point where it fails is straight after this appears in log: EDIT: I can confirm clearing savedata/trophies doesn't fix the problem it seems like its just random, launch the game a few times after closing and re-opening RPCS3 and you'll get through. |

Update: I just got into a loop where the game would get stuck on title screen every time, cleaning trophies and save data didn't help. I ran the game bout 40 times and would crash every time. Then i cleaned caches and it worked again. |

Unrelated, but you must use Zcull Precise in this game or else the game is super dark and has flickering lights. I added to wiki. Its the reason why my first screenshot was so dark. |

It does go ingame, just gotta keep trying. I would also try deleting hdd1 cache. |

I don't know if this helps. But I just went into the dev_hdd0\home\00000001\trophy directory and created the following folder NPWR02203_00. That allowed me to get past the start screen. Performance ain't all that great and the graphics are glitchy ( top left of screen has garbage). Strike that.. another run later after exiting and re-starting the game it is stuck. :( |



Quick summary

After pressing start, the game freezes with "E {RSX [0x08a0928]} RSX: nv406e::semaphore_acquire has timed out. semaphore_address=0x60300630"



It also freezes the entire emulator forcing me to task kill it.
