Causes severe physics slowdown in the EA NHL games (NHL 09 onward) Prior to this, the games would have some physics slowdown when you first started playing but it'd clear up, now it is permanent.

@JMC47 I'm talking about Preferred SPU Threads (primarily), and other options. #4422 made them more important.

I've tried all the SPU options, nothing seems to affect this whatsoever. I noticed that replays are not affected by the slowdown (in fact they run quite well,) so I truly do believe it's something to do with the puck's movement/physics.

I did some more testing - it seems to get slower and slower the longer the puck is on the ice until it's basically updating once every second. Maybe there's a leak or something. I also tried PR#4477 as a blind shot but it did not affect this behavior.

Couple other notes: RAM usage is ~500MB higher and climbs ~2MB/s with the puck on the ice (stops climbing when there's a break in the action.) In older builds the memory also rises, but not quite as fast. Probably texture/memory. I have 32GB of ram so I'm not sure that's causing it.

The thing that happens with Catherine also happens on Persona 4 Arena Ultimax.
The game freezes after the intro cutscene

Doesn't work on Latest nor Neko's Merge.

From 6675, I have this error with Catherine, i tried multiple settings but always happens the same.
OS: Linux Mint 18.3 - Kernel 4.15.0.15
CPU: 4790K
GPU: GTX 1070 - 396.18

Some games are unable to skip certain videos. In this case, with Worms Revolution freezes after ending or skipping Team17's video:
