SDL DXA 2.0 Community Tech Preview 2 Modules

NOTE: This is a Community Tech Preview release which is intended only for evaluation purposes. Do not use for production purposes!

  • The OAuth authorization framework was added as a supported security method for the Model Service.
  • Dynamic and on-demand navigation added to the Model Service.
  • Added a Custom Resolver, ensuring that linked DCP component data is automatically republished.
  • Added several caching enhancements to both the Model Service and the web application.

SDL DXA 2.0 Community Tech Preview 1 Modules

NOTE: This is a Community Tech Preview release which is intended only for evaluation purposes. Do not use for production purposes!

  • Using a new, much leaner Data Model and JSON representation to send data from CM to CD.
  • Using a new microservice ("DXA Model Service") to improve performance by minimizing roundtrips between Web Application and CIS backend.
  • Support for expanding Component links and Keyword links dynamically (in new DXA Model Service) instead of statically (on CM-side).
