File is too big #114

When I'm trying to attach a file, it shows an error of 'File is too big' although it's only 72 KB. I think it has something to do with the filename because when I'm trying to upload the same file with shorter filename it works. Could there be a way where it accepts any filename no matter how long it may be?

One thing to start with is the limits set in your php.ini on the server, please confirm that that's not set too low. (note that Apache/nginx need restarting after the change)

Thanks for the reply. No the server is limited to 16MB. If I rename the same file to a shorter filename, it uploads without any problems

In your php.ini file change the value of "upload_max_filesize"
