Sorry, I have a request.
Can you add letterbox mode (automatic resize and padding)?
I need it to create a D1 (NTSC 16:9) video.

For example:
Input: 1920x800 PAR 1:1 (2.4:1)
Target: 704x480 PAR 40:33 (D1 NTSC16:9)

ResizeWidth=min(TargetWidth,Fix((TargetHight*InputDAR/TargetPAR)/2+0.5)*2)
ResizeHight=min(TargetHight,Fix((TargetWidth/InputDAR*TargetPAR)/2+0.5)*2)
PadLeft=(TargetWidth-ResizeWidth)/2
PadTop=(TargetHight-ResizeHight)/2
PadRight=(TargetWidth-ResizeWidth)-PadLeft
PadBottom=(TargetHight-ResizeHight)-PadTop
ResizeWidth=min(704,Fix((480*2.4/(40/33))/2+0.5)*2)=min(704,Fix(950.4/2+0.5)*2)=min(704,950)=704
ResizeHight=min(480,Fix((704/2.4*(40/33))/2+0.5)*2)=min(480,Fix(355.5/2+0.5)*2)=min(480,356)=356
PadLeft=(704-704)/2=0
PadTop=(480-356)/2=62
PadRight=(704-704)-0=0
PadBottom=(480-356)-62=62

Seems like you want Padding:Fill, Downscale Only and 704x480 as the width and height? If you enable Anamorphic it will pick a PAR that best preserves the picture aspect ratio. What are your goals for the video?

I'm want to make a AVCHD-SD video, for 720(or 704)x480p NTSC 16:9 its PAR must be 40:33.

You can always use Manual mode and input the dimensions and PAR yourself. The "automatic" mode is more suited for archiving content, not authoring discs.
