Im using "Razor Global ShortCut Configuration" to Set a shortcut using the keyboard brightness keys, But does not work, if i try another key, it works just fine.

The Configuration Dialog recognizes the key, but does not execute the command. But as i say other keys launches the command.

Sorry, im not native English Speaker :S

Txs SokoloffA.

I Can confirm than brightness keys are working.

Shouldn't this be handled by the kernel?

I dont think is a kernel issue. Keys works great on Gnome and KDE. But not in razor :(

I think gnome and kde do additional software bindings

Added:

XF86XK_MonBrightnessUp,     Qt::Key_MonBrightnessUp,
XF86XK_MonBrightnessDown,   Qt::Key_MonBrightnessDown,
XF86XK_KbdBrightnessUp,     Qt::Key_KeyboardBrightnessUp,
XF86XK_KbdBrightnessDown,   Qt::Key_KeyboardBrightnessDown,

To keymapper_x11.h

And keys are working

Why don't you use ACPI keys first?
