Is it truth?
CentOS6 has no upower package

I still think it's a optional dependency. But the power apps won't work woithout it for now.

I added a way to specify a custom command if UPower is unavailable to be
able to shutdown/reboot. It's documented at the bottom of this page
("Custom Power Control"):

the custom commands its a workaround but not real solution, the adop of upower in many distros its only for red-hat own interes, its one of many reasons that upower not are in centos (and not default power manager on many distros), event if centos its a derivate from redhat but without non-free

but at today, now many distros imlement uower, and udisk due situation of hal project, there's many other very good (maybe better) imlementations, but money power mens... with redhat MS like issues..
