When I try to modify the volume with new volume plugin in 0.50 version, my processor usage goes from 5-15% to 60-80%. Most of the usage is made by razor-panel and pulseaudio. The thing is it never goes back to 5-15%
MSI Wind U-100
Linux Mint 12
Razor-Qt 0.50(did "purge razorqt" before updating to new version)
Using xfwm4 as window manager
a duplication/related to #415 ?
Yes. Sorry, I didn't search if it was already a topic. I was told to announce the bug here and I thought that it wasn't found yet, so I started a new topic
No prob. Better to have aplication than lost the issue. Can you confirm or supply your env/setup in the other bug report, please?
Please detail what do you mean by my env/setup. I don't have a clear technical knowledge.
Please list your OS, distribution, how you installed Razor and what sound apps you use (alsa, pulseaudio, ...)
Is pulseaudio working for you? (you can check with 'pactl info' in a terminal) I had a similar issue where pulseaudio failed to start because of a broken configuration. Which led to constant restarting of pulseaudio because the volume icon as a client tried to connect to the pulseaudio server forever (which should be the case, as this is really part of the pulseaudio client library)
Anyways could you somehow see if that is your issue, or if it is a totally different one (eg. you have a working pulseaudio env.)
The sound itself is working perfect.
Output of "pactl info":
Server String: unix:/home/hepe/.pulse/fd22ba52e1b8fc9dcb2847ec0000000b-runtime/native
Library Protocol Version: 24
Server Protocol Version: 24

and 1 process started with /usr/lib/pulseaudio/pulse/gconf-helper
