Hmm, this one is an odd one. With other response codes we return appropriate headers, so I'm inclined to think that we should also include an appropriate body for this response code. Perhaps the minimal per spec:

HTTP/1.1 207 Multi-Status
Content-Type: text/xml; charset="utf-8"
Content-Length: xxx

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<multistatus xmlns="DAV:">
</multistatus>

As the one driving this, I'm interested in what fits your use case.
