If Preferences are open in inactive Tab, clicking the options button does not activate it

If QuickFolders Preferences are opened from the Add-ons Manager, they are displayed in a tab.

If this tab remains open in the background (as inactive Tab), clicking the options button in the main QuickFOlders interface (current folder bar) or from the tools menu does not activate this tab and appears to do nothing.

Expected behavior: the tab with QuickFolders options is activated.

There is already code in place in qf-background.js, for some reason this stopped working in Thunderbird 100:
