Looking at your first screen shot (after activating quickJump) in the center it looks like you are already in the folder (fritzis archiv) according to the current folder bar, what emails are listed in the top portion?

Could it be that you just need thunderbird to focus into the list of emails an select an email? I will post a screenshot later when i get into the office, its hard to de here from my iPad…

is being displayed in the list of search-results

Well this gigantic feature of a double-simultaneous-search I should have known before, because with

fr ar

the quickjump is a blitz-jump to the one and only perfect folder !

i bet "ar f" works too!

how does it work:
the search algorithm breaks up each folder name into words and creates a word list. it also sees common special characters such as:
+ - _ ; : .
as word boundaries. when you got 2 terms such as "ar fr" i believe the order doesn't matter.

so ar fr would also find the folder fritz-home_argentinia.

By the way, it has been pointed out that quickJump functionalities like the Recent folders shortcut = have not been documented on the web site. Most of the functionality is listed when you click the blue (?) to the right of the search box. It's very short but contains a load of information, and is fully localized to all locales that have translated User Interface (20 languages)

But, I am sorry to say, the starting-problem remains to be solved, because even if the wanted folder is found by quickfolders very easily - knowing the searchlogic - and even the contained emails are displayed on the right hand side, the cursor won't jump to the folder

itself. it still needs more than 30 down-mouseklicks to get to that folder or it needs a corresponding scroll.
