Blog Post sample code - Bot: Introduction to developers

This repository contains sample code of the article on https://blog.recast.ai

Requirements

  • NodeJS >= 7.x.x

Installation

  • git clone https://github.com/RecastAI/blogpost-bot-introduction-developers.git && cd blogpost-bot-introduction-developers
  • npm install

Usage

The bot run on port 3333

Each folder contains code of a part of the blog post.

To test a part, just run the command: npm run start-part-X (Ex: npm run start-part-1)

After running this command, you can verify your bot is running, going to http://localhost:3333

For using part 2, you have to provide an Google API key. You can key one for free, using free plan here: https://developers.google.com/places/web-service/search?hl=fr by clickin on "Get a key" button
