This Wiki provides some of the baisc concepts of the engine and some Examples too of course. The content discribes some core aspects of the engine. You will find a lot of useful classes next to the one discribed here. Check out each package to find a README.md file which discribes the package.
The RadicalFish Engine is an engine build on top of libGDX. You can use any of the libGDX classes. The only thing you need to consider is that the engine tries to point all Sprites "ydown" to make it easier for beginners to wrap their head around graphics.
The engine uses a modified camera class to provide you with a Java2D/Slick2D like handling of drawing primitives and transforming/scaling the context.
The heart of this engine is most likely the
GameContainer class and the
Game Interface. The GameContainer is used to manage the update/render calls of the Game class. It also handles resizing the screen, the graphics context, delta values and clipping.
The goal of the engine is to provide you an easy to use (and easy to prototype) engine with a lots of neat features (like
StateBasedGame which uses a context to give you a super flexible way to control game states).
