Flight Computer on a target-designated celestial body

how would i go about using the flight computer to align a probe telescope to point directly at a target celestial body? using tgt grd+ doesn't do it, just makes it point along the orbital prograde

On KSP 1.2.2 and latest RT develop branch, the flight computer keeps pointing to the orbital prograde when targeting a celestial body. It aims properly to a targeted vessel.

The starting point for debugging is this class.
