Compound availability should decrease over time #685

The amount of floating compounds should decrease as the game progresses.

This should probably be tied to the player's current generation.

I think for this issue the main thing is to reduce free floating glucose. It should probably decrease from abundant at the start to having none at all after maybe 15 or 20 editor sessions. To get glucose you can scavenge corpses, once they are in, or use iron, hydrogen sulphide or photosynthesis.

Other compounds, such as ammonia and phosphates, should probably stay constant over time so that "time to editor" stays constant.
