        14:39:41: ## Loading Terrain Geometry
        14:39:41: loading page config for page [0,0] : a1da0UID-nhelens-page-0-0.otc
14:39:41: done loading page: loaded 2 layers
14:39:41: OGRE EXCEPTION(1:InvalidStateException): Cannot determine endian mode because header is missing in StreamSerialiser::readHeader at D:\ror\dev\ror_2012\dependencies\src\Ogre\ogre_src_v1-9\OgreMain\src\OgreStreamSerialiser.cpp (line 238)
14:39:41: We failed to prepare the terrain at (0, 0) with the error 'OGRE EXCEPTION(1:InvalidStateException): Cannot determine endian mode because header is missing in StreamSerialiser::readHeader at D:\ror\dev\ror_2012\dependencies\src\Ogre\ogre_src_v1-9\OgreMain\src\OgreStreamSerialiser.cpp (line 238)'

This error can be solved by deleting/ignoring respective "mapbin" file. RoR should go ahead and do it automatically.

EDIT: It appears this is a known OGRE issue: https://ogre3d.atlassian.net/browse/OGRE-276

Perhaps this is due to the ogre update ie the mapbin was created with ogre 1.8 before and is incompatible with ogre 1.9.

That's likely the case, yes.
