Today I was trying to update one of my plugins using vundle and meanwhile accidentally updated clang_complete as well. I'm now getting the following error on startup:

Error detected while processing function <SNR>31_ClangCompleteInit..<SNR>31_initClangCompletePython:
line   15:
E172: Only one file name allowed: pyfile /home/gokce/Ubuntu One/dot-vim/bundle/clang_complete/plugin/libclang.py
line   16:

  File "<string>", line 1, in <module>
NameError: name 'vim' is not defined
line   17:
E121: Undefined variable: l:res
E15: Invalid expression: l:res == 0
line   22:
Traceback (most recent call last):

NameError: name 'WarmupCache' is not defined
Executing BufRead Auto commands for "*"
autocommand if !did_filetype() && expand("<amatch>") !~ g:ft_ignore_pat | runtime! scripts.vim | endif

and the plugin doesn't seem to work anymore.

I believe this is because your path to clang_complete.vim contains space. Can you try the code I just pushed to the branch issue264?

I have tried issue264 branch and I had an error which I forgot to copy here. I had a symlink to some path which contains a space as you said. I tried to delete the symlink and copied the folder instead and then I had a different error:

Error detected while processing function <SNR>32_ClangCompleteInit:
line  152:
clang_complete: Not using libclang is deprecated,
line  153:
You should switch to libclang now and report all the bugs.

I'm using ubuntu 12.04 and had libclang-common-dev installed already. I tried to install libclang-dev package as well and now the error is gone. But I would like to use my symlink if possible. Currently this is the error I have using a symlink and with libclang-dev package installed which I think slightly different then my initial error:

Error detected while processing function
<SNR>32_ClangCompleteInit..<SNR>32_initClangCompletePython:
line   15:

The first "error" is normal, and you fixed it correctly by installing libclang-dev.

I'll investigate on the 2nd error, but this time, guessing won't be an option :). I'll have to put space on the path to clang_complete.
