GitHub release (by tag)

The solution specific to Microsoft Store and Game Pass removes the black bars that appear in the game at 21:9 and wider resolutions. For any other platforms, try the Telltale Widescreen Patcher or Flawless Widescreen.

  1. Download the archive at the bottom and unpack it.
  2. Launch the game, followed by the tool.
  3. At the main menu, press the designated key to toggle the fix on.
  4. In the game Graphics settings, switch fullscreen to Off, then back On (click on the text).
  5. Navigate through the temporarily misaligned and stretched menus to load an episode for the fix to fully apply.
  • Step 4 is not applicable to Season 2.
  • The solution exposes many elements previously hidden behind the black bars, which may look unappealing, distracting, or outright broken.
  • All trainers containing CE components may trigger some anti-virus software.

Tested on the latest Microsoft Store version at 2560x1080 and 3840x1080.
