Gradle build configuration including gradle wrapper (which makes sure you will automatically have the right gradle version).
Travis build configuration.

Instructions for building from source are rewritten. For me they went from like 15 steps to 1 :)

I'd advise to create a new project from existing sources to test this. If you don't I probably can't help you. The relevant gradle tasks are runIde, zip and check which do what you think they do.
