instance: seeddev
SHA: 3daf0f8 (2.0 release)
browser: chrome incognito, using my home computer
org: LBNL 302
File: covered-building-list (standard test file) (see file for #1217)
Issue for background: #1219 (I have imported, mapped and matched as shown in #1219)
Tested on my home computer

  • Click on correct cycle (2015 Compliance Cycle)
  • Click on View by Tax Lot tab
  • There are several fields displaying without data, so I want to hide them, from the list view
  • Click on field arrow for Primary/Secondary field, select Hide column, program hides column
    image
    image
  • Click on View by Property Tab, then back to View by Tax Lot tab, Primary / Secondary is back, ie, not hidden.
    image
  • Hide Primary/Secondary,
    image
  • it is hidden in the list view
    image
  • Click on List Settings -- Primary / Secondary is checked. If Hide Column worked properly, it would not be selected in List settings.
    image
  • Uncheck it in List Settings
    image
  • It seems to stay unchecked if it is set in List Settings (going to View by Property, changing cycles, logging in and out of the account,, closing the browser and opening it again in incognito mode), Primary/Secondary stays unchecked.

This works on seeddemostaging (older code set than V 2.0 release)

Actually it is even nastier now than it was, ie, if I click on a field to hide it in the pulldown in the UI Grid, then go to the other tab and back to the original tab, all the list settings are lost. EEEK!!

This is probably related to #1334

We should check the functionality of all the options in the UI Grid to see if they are all causing List Settings to be lost
