Currently, the fullscreen support use a modified backbuffer and stretch the content of the window to fit the whole screen which render poorly.

To fix this issue there are several solutions. One was discussed in issue #300 and #301.

Two others should be considered :

  • fix the stretch of the render area by adding some kind of letter-boxing and a modified backbuffer.
  • use a mode switch that "capture" the screen (thus disallowing swipe gesture to switch from workspace or cmd+tab to switch from app!) and release the screen when cmd+tab is used.
