In my ideal world, it would work much like your digital gauge widgets you have for water temp, oil temp, etc. The hybrid systems work like this. There is an amount of battery charge you can deploy per lap, and once you reach that certain amount of battery charge, it will be at 100% and you can use no more boost until you start another lap.
There is another value, which is the battery charge percentage, and you can obviously regenerate this under braking (or acceleration if your in the Porsche), this value shows how much battery you have left to be able to use as boost. If at 0%, you have no more boost period no matter if you still have more available you're able to deploy during that lap.
This is what it looks like in the in-car adjustments tab, and this is the only way you can monitor it unless you have your FOV far back enough to monitor it on the steering wheel, which I do not. Obviously having to monitor it using this tab is a hassle because I'd rather be using the Relative tab. The HYS deployment value is how much you can use during a lap, and the HYS battery charge value is how much battery charge you have.
