GCC 4.6 still failed with my last fixes, so this time I have forced the lambda return type and the build now passes http://hermione.cct.lsu.edu/builders/hpx_gcc_4_6_boost_1_50_debian_x86_64_debug/builds/955

GCC doesn't fail to deduce the return type, that's a C++14 feature.

This line looks like it needs C++14 support too

I will merge and then check buildbot for problems. The line in question didn't create any errors during the previous merge, so I'll assume it's ok for now.
