I'm able to display the Lion svg just fine, so it might be an SVG issue. Help would rock and it'll make more useful resolution-independent social icons for mobile.

This is to get a provisional CocoaPod FCWebicons released, which depends upon SVGKit.

class OtherViewController < UIViewController
  def loadView
    self.view = UIImageView.alloc.init
  end

  def viewDidLoad
    self.view.image = SVGKImage.imageNamed('webicons/images/fc-webicon-skitch.svg').UIImage

    @action_button = UIButton.buttonWithType UIButtonTypeCustom
    @action_button.frame = [[100, 100], [224, 229]]
    @action_button.addTarget(self, action: :say_something, forControlEvents: UIControlEventTouchUpInside)

    self.view.addSubview @action_button
  end

  def say_something
    @alert_box = UIAlertView.alloc.initWithTitle("Hello World",
            message:"Hi",
            delegate: nil,
            cancelButtonTitle: "ok",
            otherButtonTitles:nil)

    # Show it to the user
     @alert_box.show
  end

  def viewDidAppear(animated)
  end
end

SVGKit is an ObjC library. If you're using something else, can't really help, sorry - you need to refer to your own language/platform support.
