we are using Percona MySQL server 5.6.26.
Here are our environment details:

  1. we installed MySQL as a user dadmin
  2. I installed mywebsql as root
  3. I have ./my.cnf file contains:
    [client]
    user=dadmin
  4. I have not touch auth.php and servers.php.
  5. I have modified database.php to list the database as:
    $DB_LIST = array(
    //'Test Server' => array('test', 'wordpress'),
    //'Test Server 2'' => array('test'),
    'Localhost MySQL' => array('pdimeta')
  6. As root, I can connect to MySQL using the user credential that I have been tried on mywebsql.

I tried almost everything make it to work. I can't connect to Percona MySQL server.

Would you please let me know what is the problems here?

Thanks for your time and assistance.

Can you check php error logs.. is it a simple connection failure to percona server, or something else?

Ok maybe then you can try using command line and connect to the server, see if that works. The problem might be related to the connection to the server. If the command line works fine, then we can look into MyWebSQL troubleshooting.

Connecting to the database from the command line works. I get this screen
via MyWebSQL.
