I'm Saoirse Kelleher, a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Melbourne in the Quantitative and Applied Ecology group. I generally work on methods for modelling patterns of species occurrence over space and time. My PhD thesis was focused on approaches to building dynamic occupancy models, and I am currently working on an experimental microcosm system for testing distribution models. My interestes are broadly in applying technlogies and tools to understand complex natural patterns, and in making ecological research more open, reliable, and transparent.
