Anaconda is a great environment.
The IRuby README recommends Anaconda.

In 2020, commercial use of anaconda was no longer free.
You can use IRuby without Anaconda.
To avoid misunderstanding, we will remove the Anaconda recommendation in README.

FYI: RubyData's docker image uses conda-forge because it is based on the image of jupyter/docker-stacks.
