It seems the name of the output lockfile is different than it used to be. There was a major release of conda-lock last week

So we could just fix this by adding --kind explicit

The new conda-lock format doesn't appear to work with conda:

$ conda-lock lock -f py38.yml -p linux-64
$ conda create -n delme --file conda-lock.yml

CondaValueError: could not parse '- url: conda-forge' in: conda-lock.yml

which may be a bit restrictive

It looks like they may only be installable via conda-lock?, i.e. conda-lock install [-p {prefix}|-n {name}]
