    Merge branch 'gtk3'
    Reuben Rissler contributed a patch for v0.6.1, which replaces gtk2 with
    with gtk3. Toolpath generation and general model handling seems to work
    Some minor remaining tasks:
    * there are some FIXMEs to be analyzed
    * missing items in the "file" menu:
        * "Open Recent"
        * "Export"
        * "Save Model" and "Save Model as" (maybe due to being "disabled")
        * "Quit"
    * missing items in the "edit" menu:
        * "Copy" and "Paste"
        * "Engrave Text"
    * the "view" menu is missing

  • GCode: limit vertical feedrate (maximum speed of plunge move)
  • removed experimental support for ODE
    • the ODE library seems to be not actively developed anymore
  • removed obsolete support for psyco
  • prepared code for Python3
    • Python2-only dependencies are still required
  • updated help locations (from the old wiki to the new documentation website)

PyCAM v0.5.1 release notes (2011/06/13):

This new release of PyCAM contains one important new feature (extrusion of 2D
models) and many small fixes and improvements. Windows users will enjoy a more
modern look of the GUI theme and Linux users will be happy about a packaging
with better integration into the desktop. Additionally the 3D preview
performance improved drastically.
