Hi,
thanks for the great lib.
I needed for a low power sensor some modifications:

ADXL is sampling at low rate
if several (30) samples done interrupt wakes ESP8266
ESP tranmitts data and goes back to deep sleep while ADXL is sampling

I think it can be useful for others.
