My Braille

My Braille is a free Android app created for the visually impaired to allow them to learn braille pattern (A - Z , 0 - 9) by the feel of tactile haptics from mobile devices .

The application is designed with a simple interface , with audio cues which allows for easy navigation for the visually impaired .

How To Use

  • The dice shaped box is the pattern of the current character which is shown in the bottom .

  • To change the character , swipe left or right on the bottom bar .

  • On change of the character audio will be played telling the current number or character .

  • Move your fingers over the dice shaped box to feel the pattern , the dark dots represent the bumps which will call the haptics .

How To Install

Download from the provided link to install on Android Phone .

Build Using Android Studio

Clone the repository and import into Android Studio

https://github.com/Sidd0OP/MyBraille2.git

Go to Build -> Generate App Bundles or APK -> Build APK

Locate the generated APK . Transfer to your Android devices and install , enable "Install from Unknow Sources" if facing problems .
