Not sure if this is the right place to raise this or if there's some other forum.

I'm trying to test a web-site through Selenium.WebDriver. The site uses SignalR. I have code that looks like:

$(function () {
    var notifyHub = $.connection.notifier;

    $.connection.hub.start(function () {
        notifyHub.getServiceState();
    });
});

The way Selenium/WebDriver works is that you call driver.Navigate().Url(), this call is not returning, I think because the underlying driver does not detect that the page has loaded. If I change the SignalR code to use long-polling then the Selenium code works.

I have a relly simple example that shows this if you would like it.

Thanks

I don't use Selenium or have an idea how it works. Maybe someone else will give you an answer or you can try posting this question to stackoverflow to see if you get one.
