To use any of the features described below, you must hold the corresponding item or select the feature in the Compact Interface.
See the Usage instructions for more information on this matter.

Block Matmod

Features

All In One Tool

This tool allows you to do just about anything. By selecting an action in the Compact Interface, this tool will behave as the selected tool. The interface must remain open while using this tool.

All In One Tool

Selection Tool

This tool allows you to select an area, which is used by the following tools: Paint Bucket, Eraser, Replace Tool, Stamp, Hydrator, Dehydrator.

  • Hold the left mouse button down and drag the cursor to select an area. Release the mouse button to confirm your selection.
  • Press the right mouse button to remove the current selection.

Color Picker

This tool allows you to select your active block, which is used by the following tools: Paint Bucket, Replace Tool, Pencil, Ruler.

  • Press the left mouse button while hovering over a block in the foreground to select it.
  • Press the right mouse button while hovering over a block in the background to select it.
  • Press either mouse button while holding shift to open the material picker interface.

Paint Bucket

This tool allows you to fill an empty space in your current selection.
Requires selections made with the Selection Tool and the Color Picker.

  • Press the left mouse button to fill empty space in the foreground.
  • Press the right mouse button to fill empty space in the background.

Paint Bucket

Eraser

This tool allows you to remove all blocks in your current selection.
Requires selections made with the Selection Tool and the Color Picker.

  • Press the left mouse button to erase blocks in the foreground.
  • Press the right mouse button to erase blocks in the background.

Eraser

Replace Tool

This tool allows you to replace a specific or all blocks in your current selection with a new one. Requires selections made with the Selection Tool and the Color Picker.

  • Press the left mouse button to replace the blocks you're hovering over in the foreground.
  • Press the right mouse button to replace the blocks you're hovering over in the background.
  • Hold shift while pressing a mouse button to replace all blocks in the foreground or background.

Pencil

This tool allows you to freely draw. Existing blocks will be replaced when you draw over them.
Requires a selection made with the Color Picker.

  • Hold the left mouse button down to draw in the foreground.
  • Hold the right mouse button down to draw in the background.

Dye Tool

This tool allows you to set tile colors. The tool makes use of the pencil brush (see Settings Interface).

You can select the color using the Dye Picker interface.

  • Hold the left mouse button down to paint tiles in the foreground.
  • Hold the right mouse button down to paint tiles in the background.
  • Hold shift and press the left or right mouse button to open the Dye Picker interface.

Block Pinner

This tool allows you to create an item dedicated to drawing a single block. Not hovering over a block while selecting gives you an item that erases blocks.

  • Press the left mouse button while hovering over a block in the foreground to select it.
  • Press the right mouse button while hovering over a block in the background to select it.

This tool, generated by the Block Pinner, functions as a Pencil for the selected block.

  • Hold the left mouse button down to draw the block in the foreground.
  • Hold the right mouse button down to draw the block in the background.

Stamp

This tool allows you to copy all blocks, objects, liquids and matmods in your current selection. After that, you can paste the copied area elsewhere.
Requires a selection made with the Selection Tool.

  • Press the left mouse button to create a copy of your current selection.
  • Press the right mouse button to paste the copy. The bottom left corner of your current selection is used to determine the paste area.

Stamp

Flip Tool

This tool allows you to flip the copy made by the Stamp horizontally or vertically. Everything in the copy will be flipped.

Keep in mind that flipping the copy vertically can can issues with objects, material mods and liquids.

  • Press the left mouse button to flip the copy horizontally.
  • Press the right mouse button to flip the copy vertically.

Schematic Maker

This tool allows you to create a schematic item for the current selection. The copy is identical to a copy made using the Stamp, but will be bound to a new item that will be given to you.
Requires a selection made with the Selection Tool.

  • Press the left mouse button to create a schematic for the current selection.

This tool allows you to create a schematic item for the current selection. The copy is identical to a copy made using the Stamp, but will be bound to a new item that will be given to you. Requires a selection made with the Selection Tool.

  • Press the left mouse button to paste the schematic. The bottom left corner of your current selection is used to determine the paste area.
  • Press the right mouse button to delete the schematic from the script's storage. Note that this can not be undone!

Modifier

This tool allows you to apply matmods to blocks. Matmods are modifications to blocks, such as grass or minerals.

  • Hold the left mouse button down to modify the foreground.
  • Hold the right mouse button down to modify the background.
  • Hold shift and press a mouse button to open the mod picker.

MatMod Remover

This tool allows you to remove matmods from blocks. Matmods are modifications to blocks, such as grass or minerals. As some matmods can not be removed without breaking the block, some blocks will be broken and replaced.

  • Hold the left mouse button down to remove matmods from blocks you're hovering over in the foreground.
  • Hold the right mouse button down to remove matmods from blocks you're hovering over in the background.

This tool allows you to create an item dedicated to applying a single material mod.

  • Press the left mouse button while hovering over a material mod in the foreground to select it.
  • Press the right mouse button while hovering over a material mod in the background to select it.

This tool, generated by the MatMod Pinner, functions as a Modifier for the selected Material Mod.

  • Hold the left mouse button down to apply the material mod to blocks you're hovering over in the foreground.
  • Hold the right mouse button down to apply the material mod to blocks you're hovering over in the background.

Ruler

This tool allows you to draw straight lines between two points.
Requires a selection made with the Color Picker.

  • Press the left mouse button to fill the line in the foreground.
  • Press the right mouse button to fill the line in the background.
  • Hold shift and the left mouse button to draw a line.
  • Hold shift and press the right mouse button to remove the line selection.

Ruler

Hydrator

This tool allows you to fill your current selection with a liquid.
Requires a selection made with the Selection Tool.

  • Press the left mouse button to fill the selection.
  • Press the right mouse button to open the liquid picker.

Dehydrator

This tool allows you to drain all liquids in your current selection.
Requires a selection made with the Selection Tool.

  • Press the left mouse button to drain the selection.

Undo Tool

This tool allows you to undo any action from the following tools: Paint Bucket, Eraser, Replace Tool, Stamp.

  • Press the left mouse button to undo the last step in your undo history.
  • Press the right mouse button to remove the last step in your undo history, and thus go back a step.

Calibrator

This tool will calibrate the iteration delay. The iteration delay determines how fast a lot of other tools operate.

The use of this tool can make WEdit work faster or smoother depending on your machine and server connection. If actions aren't completing successfully, it is recommended to increase the delay in the Settings Interface.

  • Press the left mouse button to calibrate.

Info Toggle

The info toggle is only available in the Compact Interface.

Selecting this option will disable or enable the debug information displayed below your character. It is not recommended to disable the information if you're not familiar with WEdit.
